Greetings Bonsai Enthusiasts!!!
Welcome to the website of the Bonsai Society of South Jersey (BSSJ)!
We are a group of enthusiasts who meet regularly to enjoy, promote, educate and learn the many facets of the science, art and hobby of Bonsai.
Our membership ranges from very experienced and knowledgeable people to novices who are just learning the rudiments of bonsai design, development and growth. We were founded in April 2009 as a venue in southern New Jersey to address the desire of bonsai hobbyists and enthusiasts to get together and meet to share information and advice. Our society has grown to more than 30 members and we are looking forward to holding our first show in October of 2011.
